FinTech Event: Building the Pan-African FinTech Ecosystem Through Open Collaboration & Action

On 1 April 2019, the Mauritius Africa FinTech Hub hosted their first official FinTech event of 2019 in Mauritius. This one-day event was ram-packed with networking opportunities as well as talks from regulators like the EDB, FSPs, FinTech entrepreneurs, other thriving FinTech hubs, MAFH members as well as other keynote speakers.

The day was split into two, with a focus on Mauritius in the morning and Africa in the afternoon, covering topics such as regulations, capacity-building, blockchain, innovation and crowdfunding to name just a few, all with the aim of furthering a pan-African network where innovation will thrive.
